My informal project during a long weekend away was to find this combination of house numbers together, which was a more difficult task than expected. A birthday present for a friend who turns 27 on the 29th of June. There is also the parallel symbolism of the fact that I also turn 29 this year and the miniature door with the non-smoking sign personifies the fact that with his support I recently quit smoking. Luckily, it was the last photograph I took from that holiday; I never thought that there would be so many 27 1/2 addresses in this city. Shot with a Canon 24mm f/1.4L lens. |
